Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for an intended sole source procurement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation/announcement. The TSA intends to contract with MicroStrategy on a sole source basis for the purchase of license upgrades to MicroStrategy software already owned by the TSA. No proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, HSTS03-05-R-CIO213 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) from MicroStrategy and the announcement to industry of TSA?s decision. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has a requirement To upgrade the license agreement for MicroStrategy Intelligence ServerEnterprise Edition 7.5.3 and MicroStrategy WebAnalyst 7.5.3 for the move to its new servers at the new TSA Hosting Center. TSA does not intend to procure new software at this time, only upgrade to the appropriate license. TSA is exempt from sales tax and does not have to file a Tax Exemption form since the Commonwealth of Virginia does not require any form or filing to achieve tax exempt status. TSA?s FEIN = 800038533 Submission: Please submit your offer no later than 5pm Eastern Standard Time June 24, 2005. Email submission is acceptable to mark.urciuolo@associates.dhs.gov or marvin.grubbs@dhs.gov. Offers must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than the exact time specified to be considered for award. The Late Submissions, Modifications, Revisions and Withdrawals provision shall govern as provided in the applicable clauses and provisions. It is your firm?s responsibility to confirm receipt. Selection: The Government intends to award this order to MicroStrategy on a sole source basis.
