Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8231), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to Source of Future Technology, Inc (SOFT), 161 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 904, New York, NY, 10013-1205. This acquisition is to renew an expiring software license/maintenance contract for the product Terminal Area Processing System (TAPS). SOFT has proprietary rights to the software code for TAPS. They own the source code and will not release it to other vendors. These software licenses are proprietary and are protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. The renewal contract will have a four-year life ? base plus three options beginning 1 Oct 2005. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software license/maintenance renewal must request a copy of the RFQ not later than COB 1 Jul 05 via the following address: maria.meyer@disa.mil. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered. The NAICS code is 541519 for this procurement.*****
