Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO), Net Centric Services Branch, Services Section, Scott AFB IL, intends to issue a contract for the single source management of all required equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, parts replacement, and emergency repair services for equipment at DITCO, Scott AFB, IL. The following systems will be covered by this contract: Computer Room Air-Conditioning Units (9 each), Fluid Cooling Towers (2 each), Pumps (8 each), Air Handling Units (10 each), Uninterruptible Power Source (1 each), Batteries (1 each), Power Distribution Units/Circuit Monitoring (3 each), Computer Room Monitoring System (1 each), Water Detection System (1 each), Building Controls Monitoring System (1 each), Hot Water Heater (1 each), and Chemical Treatment for Towers (2 each). The contractor shall provide preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance in accordance with the Government Statement of Work. The site location is 2300 East Drive, Building 3600, Scott AFB, IL 62225. The period of performance shall be one (1) base year, 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006, and four (4) option periods. The type of contract is firm-fixed price. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice cannot be accepted since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quote or a request for proposal. Companies who can provide these services must indicate their interest in writing by Noon, Central Standard Time, 06 July 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
