Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Ray Brook, New York, intends to issue RFQ-21203-024-5 and make a single award for the provision of supplying Stainless Steel Shower Pans and Side Panels for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Ray Brook, New York. The Contracting Officer anticipates a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be required to measure on site, and fabricate an estimated thirty-two (32) stainless steel shower pans with a 5WL pattern formed during fabrication. In addition, the contractor will be required to measure on site, and fabricate two (2) 24 inch high stainless steel overlapping L-shaped panels with a horizontal lip on the top side of each panel to be recessed into the existing shower wall for each shower pan fabricated. Installation will be the responsibility of the Facilities Department at FCI Ray Brook. The solicitation will be available on/about July 1 , 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most current information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The NAICS is 332322 and the size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote which if received timely, will be considered.
