Description

OPTICAL TABLES: The solicitation number is FA8601-05-T-0168. The proposed contract is for the purchase of three items as follows: CLIN 0001: Optical Table, 10 Ft X 4.9 Ft X 8.3 inches, P/N PTR11114/FNM-S2/NJ. CLIN 0002: Optical Table, 6 Ft X 4.9 Ft X 8.3 inches, P/N PTR11113/SS/FNM-S1/NJ. CLIN 0003: 700MM SUPERDAMP SET/6/FNM, PTS503/FNM-S6. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Thorlabs, Inc. of Newton, New Jersey. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be faxed to Tammy Tobe, 88 CONS/PKBB, 937-656-1412, or e-mailed to Tammy.Tobe@wpafb.af.mil no later than 6 July 2005. Only proposals received by this date will be considered.
