Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Four Seasons Grounds Service, Lowland, Tennessee, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (b)(1)(i), to clean the settling basin at the Erwin National Fish Hatchery (NFH), Erwin, Tennessee. The settling basin will be cleaned to remove the hatchery fish manure and sludge. The contractor will require a state permit to deposit the sludge in an authorized location. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposal contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
