Description: The VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 East Seventh Street, Long Beach, CA 90822 has a requirement for Ambulance Services in the following amounts for a base period of one year: BASIC LIFE SUPPORT: 240 trips with a mileage of approximate 1200 miles outside the 20 mile radius. ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT: 290 trips with an estimated 700 miles outside the 20 mile radius. Transportation for VA Beneficiaries will be primarily in Los Angeles and Orange Counties and offerors must be licensed in those areas with and established dispatch center. Services are required 24 hours a day and seven days a week. RFP 600-133-05VJ will issue O/A July 1, 2005 with proposals due P/A August 2, 2005. All requests for RFP600-133-05VJ must be in writing.
