Description

The VA San Diego Healthcare System, 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego CA, 92161 has a requirement for Ambulance Services. Transportation for VA Beneficiaries will primarily be provided in San Diego and Imperial Counties. All offerors must be licensed in those areas with an established dispatched center. Services are required 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Requirements are as follows: BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AMBULANCE SERVICE: 864 TRIPS, approximately 1750 additional miles beyond 20 mile radius. ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT AMBULANCE SERVICE: 240 TRIPS, approximately 480 miles beyond 20 mile radius, Critical Care Nurse and Certified Respiratory Therapist when required. Contract period is from one year from date of award. RFP 600-948 will issue O/A July 1, 2005 with proposals due O/A August 2, 2005. All requests for RFP must be in writing and no telephone requests will be accepted. FAX and e-mail requests are acceptable.
