Description

Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia has a requirement for software support services for Operating Room Management Application (ORMA) system previously purchased. Software support service covers surgical management and scheduling; various surgical nursing documentation; Discern Explorer and Expert; and interfaces with Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and Defense Medical Logistics Standard System (DMLSS). Contractor will provide a Surginet Solution delivery consulta nt to assist in resolving DMLSS and ORMA interface out of sync data. Army Contracting Agency, SR, Directorate of Contracting intends to purchase the items from Cerner, the manufacturer of this proprietary software system, which integrate with previously p urchased system. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The authority is U.S.C.2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 11:00 a.m. EST on 5 July 2005. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of de termining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion o f the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
