PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. SET-ASIDE: THIS PROJECT IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. SOLICITATION NO.: Q5530050058 DESCRIPTION: The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, termite inspection and treatment of a variety of buildings (comfort stations, offices, shops, historic churches, etc.) located in Mammoth Cave National Park. The National Park Service will award a single negotiated firm-fixed price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project to the contractor offering the best value to the Government and will require submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's technical capability to be equally important as price. PROJECT COST RANGE: $25,000.00 to $50,000.00 LOCATION: The project site is located in Mammoth Cave at Mammoth Cave National Park, P.O. Box 7, Mammoth Cave, KY 42259 (Edmonson County). Mammoth Cave National Park is located approximately half-way between Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY near Interstate 65 in Edmonson County. QUALITY ASSURANCE: Any required permits shall be acquired by the contractor. The contractor shall be experienced with work as described above, and the contractor shall show prior evidence of related work. The NAICS Code for this project is 561710 and the small business size standard is $6 million. This procurement is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. A Pre-bid site inspection will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the Solicitation Instructions. Proposals will be due 21 calendar days following the issuance of the solicitation. Search http://ideasec.nbc.gov by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted.
