Description: The USGS intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, for biomarker measurements in sea otters. The scientist performing these services is specifically identified by the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council and the Office Management Authority for this work. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302.
