- FISC Detachment Seal Beach intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Material Analytical Service, Swuanee GA. Maintenence Service from 10/1/05 thru 9/30/06 for the TOPCON 002B Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) and a TOPCPN 510 Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)located at Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA 93943. Service for items 0001 and 0002 includes: one (1) planned preventative maintenance (PM) inspection per coverage period. Unlimited Emergency Repair Service visits as required during the hours of 8-5. Monday thru Friday. Parts are not included except for consumables and the HV Gun assembly for the TOPCON. Labor and Travel are included. Items are proprietary to TOPCON and Material Analytical Service. Due to highly technology TOPCON 002B can only be serviced by engineers who have been trained and designated by TOPCON, Japan. A non-competitive procurement via Simplified Acquisition Procedures is anticipated. All responsible sources may submi! t a proposal. Oral RFQ utilized. Anticipated award date is 30 June 2005.
