Description

06/22/2005 The proposal due date is 08/08/2005. The required MOS system quantity is changed from one to six. 04/05/2005 - By: Indulis Tupesis Solicitation number has been corrected to N00039-05-R-0026 for posting to FedBizOpps. 03/18/2005 - By: Indulis Tupesis The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), intends to award a sole source modification to Data Link Solutions, L.L.C. (DLS), contract N00039-03-C-0008. This modification will require DLS to develop, qualify, and deliver Block Cycle (BC) upgrades for the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) On Ship (MOS) Navy Ship Input/Output (NSIO), Navy Communications Processor (NCP) and Terminal Controller (TC) Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs). This entails development of the software, associated documentation, and Formal Qualification Test (FQT) of the MOS BC upgrades. This modification will also require DLS to produce, test, and deliver one MOS System to meet an immediate need for LHA(R); MOS System hardware spares for MOS systems already ordered; and to provide engineering and repair services for system components for U.S. Navy and Po Sheng MOS programs. Sole Source authority FAR Subpart 6.302-1 will satisfy the agency requirements.
