Description

The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Service has a requirement for the GSA Global Supply Store Warehouse at Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, Alaska for a 3500 lb Narrow Aisle Reach Truck. This Reach Truck is needed to aid in the reconfiguration of equipment in the GSA Global Supply Warehouse. This will be evaluated utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria. The procedures of FAR PART 12, Commercial Acquisition will be utilized. The applicable NAICS Code is 333924. The Government foresees a firm fixed price supply type contract. Required Delivery Date is NLT 14 weeks after contract award. Equipment will be shipped to Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska FOB Destination. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . It is anticipated that the RFQ, will be issued on or about 23 June 2005, with offers due on or about 13 July 2005. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP or other unzipping software is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. Interested parties may utilize www.fedbizopps.gov and request an E-mail notification by clicking on the ?FedBizOpps Vendor? tab then ?Acquisition Notification service? then ?register to receive notification by solicitation number.? By registering with this service, you should receive notification as to when the solicitation has been uploaded to the FBO website. PLEASE NOTE: GSA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THIS NOTICE. OFFERORS ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION ON THE FBO WEBSITE. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to brian.begley@gsa.gov will be accepted only in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the FBO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
