- Document Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice Solicitation #: FD2060-05-Q-33048 Response Date: 8 Jan 2005 Title: MK I, Air Data Unit (ADU) and MK I Attitude Indicator This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This document incorporates clauses and provisions that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20, Effective 23 February 2004. WR-ALC/LTKA intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, one time contract for the repair of MK I, applicable to the C-5 aircraft. The Air Force has an Urgent requirement for repair support for: CLIN 0001 - 17 each MK I Air Data Unit (ADU) and CLIN 0002- 17 ea. attitude indicators. The contractor shall provide services, data, and materials to provide sustainment support and repair for these C-5/C-141 assets. The depot level maintenance to be performed includes, but is not limited to, teardown analysis and repair, testing, procurement of spare components, packaging, handling, storage, transportation, as well as data collection, and engineering oversight of the repair process. SCHEDULE: The repair quantity is 17 each for CLIN 0001 AND 17 ea. for CLIN 0002. The contractor shall begin production within 30 days of receipt of repairable carcasses. DELIVERY: Reparables are due as follows: 12 ea. 60 days after receipt; 5 ea. 90 days after receipt. This item has military packaging requirements that will be sent separately. Statement of Work and Data items shall also be sent separately. INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE/F.O.B: FAR 52.246-2 & 52.246-11 Apply. Points of Inspection and Acceptance are as follows: Inspection: Source Acceptance: Source F.O.B point is Origin. The solicitation date will be 10 Jan 2005 with the approximate response date of 12 Jan 2005 . Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. This Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is restricted to Meggitt Avionics, UK .
