Description

You are invited to bid on government surplus material (hardware) located at AAI Engineering, Summerville, South Carolina. Material originally purchased to maintain C-17 trainers (See attached detail reports (4) for item descriptions). The inventory is being offered as four lots "as is, where is" and the condition is A1 "unused.? Bidders may bid on each lot individually or all lots, but must clearly indicate which lot they are bidding on. Lots are identified as case detail report 70, 71, 72, and 73. Removal of the property will be at the purchaser's expense and are responsible for arranging transportation. Successful bidders must make payment in the form of a cashier's check or money order within 5 days after award made payable to the Treasurer of the United States. Awards will not be approved for any bidder entered on the List of Parties Excluded from Procurement, available at website http://epls.arnet.gov. All terms and conditions are as stated in the attachment. Specific questions can be addressed to Ms. Cindy Sims, AAI Engineering, telephone (843) 832-1254. All bids are to be submitted on or before the closing date of July 7, 2005 to AAI Engineering, Attn: Carolyn Alexander, 2735 West 5th Street, Summerville, SC 29483-9605. Late bids will not be accepted unless post marked before the closing date. AAI Engineering shall not be liable for property damaged or personal injury to equipment or personnel of Successful Bidder or third persons subject property by Successful Bidder hereunder, and Successful Bidder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless AAI Engineering, it's officers, employees and agent from any loss, cost damage, expense or liability of any nature or kind by reason of property damage or personal injury, whether to AAI Engineering property or personnel or to the equipment or personnel of Successful Bidder or of third persons, in connection with such inspection, or removal of the property by Successful Bidder. Successful Bidder further agrees to maintain, and to cause any carrier designated by Successful Bidder to remove such property to maintain public liability and property damage insurance in reasonable amounts to cover the obligations set forth above.
