Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, requires a contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation to fulfill the requirements for site preparation, construction and maintenance of railroad installation, railroad repair, rail replacement or work incidental to rail installation (i.e. excavating, grading, drainage and concrete work). Work will be performed primarily at facilities in North Carolina. Work may also be located at other Federal facilities within the geogr aphic boundaries of the South Atlantic Division. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) with task orders to be written against the contract. The contract shall be for a period of three years. The total capacity of this contract will be $14.5 million. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This solicitation will be issued as 8(a) Competitive Request for Proposal, open to all 8(a) firms nationwide. This solicitation will be available on or about 08 July, 2005. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 1629 and North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237990; the small business size standard is $28,500,000.00.
