- NAICS Code 333911. This is a Sources Sought Notice requesting small businesses capable of providing parts and service for pump rehabilitation. The pump was manufactured by Worthington Pump and Machinery Corporation, is a Model 16-LA-2. Its capacity is 9,000 GPM at 100 feet of head. The pump rehabilitation shall consist of the providing new case wear (seal) rings; machining the rotating seal rings; providing and installing new shaft packing sleeves with o-ring grooves; providing and installing new shaft sleeve o-rings; providing and installing new shaft sleeve nuts; recontour the impeller; and balancing the rotating assembly. New shaft packing sleeves, sleeve nuts, and o-rings shall be provided. The packing sleeves shall be manufactured with o-rings grooves. The packing sleeves shall be installed with o-rings to prevent the entrance of water under the sleeve. The impeller shall be recontoured as necessary and the water flow area coated with "Belzona" material. The minimal skim cut necessary shall be removed from the impeller wear rings to clean them up. After the rotating assembly is rehabilitated it shall be dynamically balanced. New case wear rings shall be fabricated per Worthington Pump and Machinery Corporation model 16-LA-2 drawings with an outside diameter equivalent to the existing case wear rings and an inside diameter equivalent to the measured impeller wear ring diameter after machining plus the diametric clearance recommended by the Worthington design. Fits and surface finish shall be to within Worthington Pump and Machinery Corporation model 16-LA-2 drawing requirements. Material shall be in accordance with Worthington Pump and Machinery Corporation model 16-LA-2 drawing requirements. Prospective vendors must be registered in the CCR database, http://www.ccr.gov prior to award of contract. Failure to register in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award.
