- Description
- The Fry Creek Dead & Dying Tree Removal Project on the Cleveland National Forest, Palomar Ranger District, includes felling and removal of dead trees and mechanical piling of woody debris. The project area contains 148 acres on which operations will be performed. The services will be performed at the following forest location in San Diego County, California. The project is accessed from the Palomar Ranger District Office in Ramona, CA; via Black Canyon Road south to State Route 78. State Route 78 east to Santa Ysabel, State route 79 north to State Route 76 west, past Lake Henshaw to San Diego County Route S7 (East Grade Road) to San Diego County Route S6 past Observatory Campground to the south and to Fry Creek Campground to the north on Forest Road 9S11.Recommended Contract Time is 120 calendar days. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractors Registry BEFORE a proposal is submitted. Proposals will not be considered without a CCR number. Registration can be done online @http://www.ccr.gov. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code: 115310 Size Standard $6.million. Offer due by noon August 11, 2005.
