Description: The NOAA, Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary (OCNMS), Port Angeles, WA is seeking sources to develop a derelict fishing gear removal project specific to OCNMS. Tasks will include: survey target areas for nets and crab pots; identify priority areas for gear removal; develop and implement a program to train commercially certified tribal divers in protocols for safe removal procedures; etc. A detailed statement of work will be sent out to interested parties on or about July 11, 2005. .
