<font color=green size=4 type=?Arial?>The Wilkes Barre VAMC in Wilkes Barre, PA 28711 (Northeastern PA) is seeking sources interested in providing a complete off-site hospital laundry service, including transportation. Estimate is 600,000 soiled pounds per year, which includes 19,500 lbs nursing home patient-owned clothing and 8,500 lbs surgical linen. Services will commence o/a January 2006, with two or three deliveries per week. Linen is currently owned by WBVAMC. Interested parties should reply to the contracting officer via email titled ?WBVAMC Laundry - Interested Source? and address the following: business name and DUNS number, business size certification, laundry processing plant location(s), industry certification(s) currently held, that the firm?s www.ccr.gov registration is current and accurate, and that the firm is not currently on the Excluded List at www.epls.gov.
