Description
Architect-Engineer related services are required for Archaeological Surveys, Ravenna Training and Logistics Sites, Portage County, Ohio Army National Guard, Ohio. Services will include the following: Phase I Archaeological survey of approximately 40 acres of heavily disturbed areas to determine eligibility for listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The Phase I Archaeological Survey shall consist of an exhaustive search and comprehensive review of existing literature and records for the entire survey area and a thorough Phase I field examination of the area using survey methodologies acceptable to the OHPO. The contractor will analyze all data gathered and prepare a comprehensive investigation report. The contractor may also be called upon to serve as the OHARNG liaison with OHPO personnel responsible for reviewing the report. Evaluation criteria, in descending order of importance are: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services. (2) Speci alized experience and technical competence in the type of work required including where appropriate, experience in energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste reduction and the use of recovered materials. (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the req uired time. (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules. (5) Location in general geographical area of the projects and knowledge of the locality of the projects, provided that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms given the nature and size of the projects. (6) Volume of work awarded by the Department of Defense (DOD) during the last twelve (12) month s. Final selection procedure may include personal or telephone interview. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000.00 - $50,000.00. Qualified firms desiring consideration shall submit one copy of their S F 330 (copies must be less than one year old).
