Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation number W911N2-05-T-0160 is applicable issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). (III) The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acqui sition Circular 2001-25. (IV) Offerors must be approved and qualified. The Government does not posses sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm listed. The RFQ will be issued to Gichner Shelter Systems, 490 East Locu st Street, PO Box 48 Dallastown, PA 17313. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. Request a solicitation package from the address above, ATTN: AMSAM-LE-KO, FAX Number 717 267-9834. Drawings, specifications , or other technical data are not available and will not be furnished. This requirement is under Standard Industrial Classification Code 6115, NAICS CODE 335312. The resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced type contract under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items.
