Description

DESC: 1005-00-550-4077, Part Number 5504077, The item to procure is an Oil Buffer Assembly used on the XM296 aircraft type browning .50 caliber machine gun. This modifies a synopsis posted on December 10, 2004 for solicitation W52H09-05-R-0005. It changes the requirement from 436 each to a 5-year Requirements contract with a maximum quantity of 2,000 each. Estimated issue date is July 1, 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard c opies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued ele ctronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet a ddress in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
