Description
The McDonald Army Community Hospital, FT Eustis, VA is looking for a Medical Assistant to work under a Personal Service Contract. Hours will be on duty up to 80 hours each two-week period. Shifts may be rotating to include nights, holidays, and weeke nds. The Medical Assistant shall be flexible and work according to the clinic schedule. The performance period is 01 Oct 2005 through 30 Sep 2006 with four Option Years. Option Years are subject to availability of funds. Minimum Qualifications: have valid certification as a Medical Assistant, Licenses and/or Certifications, Education, Experience and Basic Life Support Certification and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Be capable of reading, writing and speaking English f luently. Applicants should send their resume/curriculum vitae, Certifications and Licenses to Lynn S. Thomas at the McDonald Army Community Hospital, North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office at lynn.thomas@na.amedd.army.mil. Applicants will be evaluated by a technical committee and ranked numerically based on their technical qualifications according to the following criteria: Education and Experience. The Contracting Officer will then evaluate and negotiate price with the qualified applicants for contrac t award. Only individuals may apply, eg. no companies. Additional, all offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), which can be found at www.ccr.gov. Upon receipt of resume and licenses and/or certifications, applicants will be pro vided a Request for Quote (RFQ) by one of the following methods: mailed thru postal service, applicant may pick-up from the above address or via e-mail. Your response to the RFQ package should be sent in sufficient time to assure arrival by the specified d ate listed in block 8 of the RFQ. The RFQ provides applicant the opportunity to review the Performance Work Statement, Job Description, Terms and Conditions of the Government and an opportunity to present his/her hourly rate for performance of work.
