Description
Contractor to furnishing all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials as well as the necessary qualified personnel, facilities, and support end of year reports, and incidentals to perform all work necessary to complete herbicide application for vegetation management treatments. The Government may conduct a field inspection of the proposed treatment areas. The field inspection, if required, shall be conducted so that on the ground impacts may be identified and mitigated or areas may be deleted from the proposed treatment area. After the contract has been completed, the Contractor shall submit to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), a GPS map of the area actually treated. Location: Chemical spraying shall be performed in Township 23 North, Range 118 West, sections 15,22,23,26,27,28,33,34 and Township 22 North, Range 118 West, section 4 on approximately 1,500 acres (See attached Map). Application Procedures: All chemicals shall be administered and applied in accordance with "Vegetation Treatment on BLM Lands FEIS and ROD", with current EP A and State supplemental label restrictions. The following pesticide shall be used to treat the target species. Tebuthiuron (pellets), Spike 20P. The herbicide shall be applied at a rate of O.25 lb of ACTIVE INGREDIENT (A.I.) All application of herbicides shall be done under the supervision of a certified applicator. This is a 100% small business set-aside. A performance period of 30 calendar days performance period, with actual damages assessed for a delayed performance period. With an estimated start date on or about August 1 2005.
