Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - Region 7 (Alaska) intends to award a sole source procurement to the City of Soldotna to provide public water and wastewater utility stub-outs, South on Ski Hill Road from Funny River Road intersection in Soldotna, Alaska. The stub-outs will connect to existing City of Soldotna utilities in Funny River Road and extend up to the new (relocated) Ski Hill Road intersection where they will be capped for future extension and utilization. All material and work is to be in accordance with the City of Soldotnas "Standard Construction Specification," or by their approval. This work will be accomplished before pavement installation and will extend beyond the limits of paving. This project work will be done as a modification to their existing contract thru the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. This project is titled "Sterling Highway: Soldotna Urban/Kenai River Bridge 0671," Project Number ACBR-IM-021-1(51)/56830. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or bids and the Government does not intend to accept proposals or bids received. Award will be made 14 days after publication of this notice. See Numbered Note 22.
