- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. GovWorks is issuing this solicitation on behalf USAITA-PTC(Army). This requirement is for 5 each, "Brand Brand Name or Equal," Sharp FO-DC600 Plain Paper Laser Facsimile, 5 each "Brand Name or Equal," Toner/developer cartridge for the Sharp FO-DC600 Plain Paper Laser Facsimile, 5 each "Brand Name or Equal" Drum cartridge for the Sharp FO-DC600 Plain Paper Laser Facsimile and 1 each "Brand Name or Equal," Sharp Cryptek CSF-500 Secure Facsimile. If you are submitting an "Equal" for the Sharp FO-DC600 Plain Paper Laser Facsimile and/or the Sharp Cryptek CSF-500 Secure Facsimile, I have a listing of the salient characteristics for these items and they may be obtained by e-mailing me at shelly.parker@mms.gov. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 334210 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: 500 employees. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE, Firm-Fixed Price. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17 and Defense Change Notice 20031001. FOB: Destination for delivery to: Department of The Army, Pentagon Telecommunications Center, 6607 Army Pentagon, RM 5A910, Washington DC 20310. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal.
