PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. SET-ASIDE: THIS PROJECT IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. SOLICITATION NO.: Q5530050061 DESCRIPTION: The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, the work of this contract consists of remarking established boundaries of Mammoth Cave National Park. The work will include clearing brush, debarking & painting trees, painting concrete boundary monuments, replacing damaged monuments, installing boundary signs and line posts on Mammoth Cave National Park boundaries; The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials (except as noted under Government furnished materials), equipment, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the requirements of this contract. Government Furnished materials: A. Boundary Signs: white background embossed with green "US BOUNDARY NPS". B. Orange boundary paint, (brush applied), gallon containers. C. Nails for installing boundary signs. D. Boundary posts with boundary signs. Copy of Boundary Survey Sheets (to be returned upon completion of contract). The National Park Service will award a single firm-fixed price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project to the contractor offering the lowest responsive, responsible quote to the Government PROJECT COST RANGE: $25,000.00 to $100,000.00 LOCATION: The project site is located in Mammoth Cave at Mammoth Cave National Park, P.O. Box 7, Mammoth Cave, KY 42259 (Edmonson County). Mammoth Cave National Park is located approximately half-way between Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY near Interstate 65 in Edmonson County. QUALITY ASSURANCE: Any required permits shall be acquired by the contractor. The contractor shall be experienced with work as described above, and the contractor shall show prior evidence of related work. The NAICS Code for this project is 237210 and the small business size standard is $6.0 million. This procurement is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. A Pre-bid site inspection will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the Solicitation Instructions. Proposals will be due 30 calendar days following the issuance of the solicitation.
