Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis the lease of two (2) identical aircraft with an option of up to three (3) additional identical aircraft. The aircraft must contain nineteen passenger seats, 1981 model year or later, multi-engine, pressurized, two-pilot, turbine powered aircraft of the same type. The aircraft shall meet at a minimum the following specifications: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification for entry into known icing conditions; Removable seats; Dual controls; 750 Nautical Mile (NM) minimum range with three crew members and ten passengers, with a 45-minute fuel reserve; Maintain a minimum rate of climb of 200 feet per minute after loss of power from the critical engine when taking off at 2,500 foot pressure altitude with an outside air temperature of ISA plus 30, a fuel load for a 300-NM flight, three crew members, and 16 passengers; Full instrumentation and eq! uipment required to meet FAA Federal Aviation Regulations Part 121 requirements for instrument flight rules. Aircraft performance will be at both the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake and Point Mugu, California. The contractor will provide all on-site aircraft maintenance, including parts and engine oil. Maintenance will be provided for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance including emergency repairs in accordance with FAR part 13.5. An average of 80 flight hours, exclusive of maintenance related flight hours, per aircraft per month or a total of 960 total flight cumulative hours per aircraft per contract year will be required. Delivery date is 1 October 2005. Period of performance is 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 with 4 one-year option periods.
