Description

Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), 1200 K Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005, intends to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE procurement with SWANLabs Corporation for commercial, proprietary software. The contractor will provide services and hardware to install, implement database support and database enhancements within the exisiting system for: 1)Web Accelerator Appliance 2) Web Accelerator Software License, Plumtree Edition 3) Installation and Training 4) Annual Maintenance and Support Fees (Production Server) includes e-mail and telephone support for one year, software updates. 24 hours per day x 7 days a week 20% of Software License Fee. This Competitive bidding would result in significant, project delays, would require duplication of cost to the government, and would not result in cost savings. This is SOLE SOURCE procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and is not a request for competitive quotes. However, statements of capability to fulfill this requirement received from other responsible businesses prior to close of business on June 30, 2005 will be evaluated.
