- Description
- 1. Amend Specification (a) to read: a) 1.6 -29.999 MHz Operational Transceiver Frequency 2. Amend Specification (h) to change the STANAG 4055 reference to STANAG 5066. 3. Amend Specification (m) to add the following: The antenna coupler must be capable of providing an efficient transmission line antenna impedance match over the entire frequency spectrum from as low as 2.0 MHz and as high as 29.999 MHz. The following are typical of some of the impedances the coupler must be able to efficiently match: 02.00 MHz = .4 + J52.4 10.40 MHz = 9750 + J2080 10.54 MHz = 5270 - J4520 29.999 MHz = 78 + J78.5 The antenna coupler must also be able to deliver adequate power to the antenna such that the ratio of the radiated power to the power delivered to the coupler should not be less than 15% as determined from the following equation: Ia2xR / Pc = ? Where Ia = antenna current as measured by a thermocouple ammeter. R = ?real? part of the antenna impedance Pc= Power delivered to antenna coupler. ? = Efficiency in percent, must be > 15% at the frequency with the lowest efficiency. 4. Delete FAR Clause 52.225-1. 5. Offerors shall be required to propose on ALL or NONE of the CLIN Items. 6. The time and date for receipt of proposals remains July 6, 2005, 4:30 PM EST.
