Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, NET Centric Services Branch, Services Section, Scott AFB IL, intends to issue a contract for HVAC Support Equipment Maintenance and Repair at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Processing Element (PE) Jacksonville FL. This acquisition shall provide all parts, supplies (consumables), labor and expenses to provide comprehensive prventative mainteannce to minimize cooling system failure/downtime for the DISA PE datacenter. The following systems will be covered by this contract: Centrifugal Chillers, Chilled Water Pumps (supply and return), Chilled Water Loop Piping inside the mechanical room, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment, Condenser Loop Pumps (supply and return), and all Condenser Loop Piping. Equipment on site consists of Chiller, 300 Ton, 3 Each, McQuay Manufacturer, Model Number PEH087, Serial Numbers 5TF0103300, 5TF0103700, and 5TF0103900 and Cooling Towers, 300 Ton, 3 Each, BAC Manufacturer, Model Number 3766-3C, and Serial Number 88400365. The contractor shall provide chiller, pump, and cooling tower maintenance and preventive maintenance in accordance with the Government Statement of Work (SOW) and operations/maintenance manuals for the installed equipment. The central site location is Langley Street, Building 919, Jacksonville NAS, FL 32212. The period of performance shall be a 1 base year plus 4 options periods. The type of contract is firm-fixed price contract. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice cannot be accepted since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quote or a request for proposal. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. Companies who can provide these services must indicate their interest in writing by 18 July 2005.
