Description

The USDA, Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), Administrative Services Division (ASD), Contract Management Branch (CMB) intends to issue a competitive solicitation for the Special Nutrition Programs (SNP), Food Distribution Division (FDD), to monitor 59 school districts operating under the Commodity Letter of Credit (CLOC) alternatives from September 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006. This solicitation will provide for the implementation and monitoring of all procedures associated with CLOC for school year 2005-2006. The estimated level of effort is 1.0 ? 1.5 person years over a period of 9 months. Four option years of performance are expected to be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). This procurement has been designated as a 100 percent small business set-aside. A fixed price contract is anticipated. The NAICS code is 541618. The RFP will be released on or about July 13, 2005.
