Description

S--The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is soliciting proposals from interested security guard contractors to provide protection of Service Unit real property, safety of staff and visitors for the Cass Lake Indian Health Service, Cass Lake, Minnesota. The contractor is required to provide coverage twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contract shall be a non-personal fixed-price performance based security services contract under which the contractor is an independent contractor which shall allow the government to evaluate the quality of professional and administrative services provided, and shall retain limited control over the professional aspects of the services rendered, (e.g. professional judgments). The period of performance will be for (1) one base year period from date of award for a 12-month period. RFP No. 05-06 will tentatively be released on July 18th, 2005 and the deadline for submission of offers is tentatively scheduled for August 18, 2005. The acquisition listed herein is totally set aside for award to a 51% to 100% Indian owned firm pursuant to the Buy Indian Act (25 USC 47).
