Description

The work consists of construction of a segmented rock foreshore protection dike with geotextile fabric base, including the construction of instrumented demonstration reaches and all associated incidental work along the southern shoreline of White Lak e in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. Work is estimated to cost between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 14 July 2005, and the Bid Opening Date approximately 30 days later. Plans and Specifications are available to dow nload from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil/EBS Contracting/index.asp. There will be no paper copies or CDs available.
