- Military Hospitals- (Army, Navy, and Air Force) TRICARE Region Europe is considering standardizing and establishing a Regional Incentive Agreement (s) (RIA (s) for Patient Safety Slippers Sock-Type with NonSkid Treads. This is not a request for bids but an invitation to participate in a product line review process that will result in a selection of vendor(s) to provide this product line to MTFs within the European Region. Vendors must be able to provide a full line of product and meet regional produ ct volume requirements; provide representatives and product for vendor demonstrations at no charge to the government; and conduct product in-services for medical facility staff as needed. MILITARY HOSPITALS - TRICARE Europe Region, a military integrated delivery network, comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical facilities in Iceland, Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Turkey. ELIGIBILITY WILL BE DEPENDENT ON THE FOLLOWING: 1. A list of clinical criteria and instructions will be provided to vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers who are willing to participate. These vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers must be holders of a Distribution And Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), distribute products through the DSCP Prime Vendor (PV) program, and carry a full line of product for the items being considered. A company must be a DAPA Holder to participate in our standardization process. Vendor Name and Address? 2. Vendor has DAPA Account or is eligible for application for DAPA for these Patient Safety Slippers? 3. What is your DAPA Number? 4. Are your products on the Federal Supply Schedule? 5. Vendor has distribution agreement with Prime Vendor, Owens and Minor. 6. Is your company a Manufacturer or a distributor of this product line? 7. Vendor is able to service the entire region to include MTFs in Germany, Italy, Spain, Iceland, Turkey, Portugal and England (all products will be provided through the Prime Vendor, Owens and Minor). 8. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture / distribute product? 9. List the industry production standards used in manufacturing this product. 10. Have there been safety alerts issued by any governmental or accreditation agencies regarding the safety of your products 11. Vendor offers comprehensive educational resources and tools and literature for clinical application of these Patient Safety Slippers. 12. Product is safety tested and approved as a patient safety slipper. 15. Describe the material used for the sock portion, i.e. 100% cotton, cotton/poly blend, etc. 16. Hypoallergenic issue: Have there ever been any issues with the dyes or material causing allergies to the patients? 17. Describe whether the sock type slipper material is textured on the inside or textured on the outside. 18. Describe latex content in the product. 19. Describe the non-slip treads and endurance features: i.e. prevention of cracks, peeling, chipping, etc. 20. Describe the configuration of the treads: i.e. how much bottom surface does it cover, vertical, horizontal, or diagonal pattern. 21. Does the sock-type safety slipper come in BOTH hi-top ankle covering and the low cut versions 22. Describe the sizing of the slippers. 23. Describe method of differentiating sizes. 24.
