Description
The Contractor shall furnish all plant, materials, labor, services, equipment, supervision, and performance necessary to install a new roofing system for the Many Farms High School, Many Farms, AZ; Rock Point Community School, Rock Point, AZ; and Seba Dalkai Boarding School, Seba Dalkai, AZ, as described on the applicable drawings and specifications. The approximate roof area for Many Farms High School Building Nos. 1163 and 1167 are both 50,105 square feet each. The approximate roof area for Rock Point Community School Building No. 410 is 30,121 square feet and Building No. 423 is 7,459 square feet. The approximate roof area for Seba Dalkai Boarding School No. 401 is 7,624 square feet, Building No. 402 is 559 square feet, and Building No. 414 is 1,047 square feet. Verification of actual dimensions, materials, angles (skews), alignment, existing elevations, and all existing conditions shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor. The Bureau of Indian Affairs requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract. This is a full and open competition acquisition, and is set-aside for small business. Period of Performance will be 180 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Bid opening date is scheduled at 2:00 P.M. (local time), July 29, 2005, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, 301 W. Hill Ave., 3rd Floor Conference Room No. 342, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. Twenty-five (25) sets of solicitation packages will be available on a first come, first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. All responsive bids from responsible bidders will be considered. Interested firms are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by facsimile, Fax No. (505) 863-8382 to the attention of Lynelle Benallie. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
