Description: Scraping, Repair, Repainting The Theodore Roosevelt House, Sagamore Hill National Historic Site. Solicitation Number N1880050006. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract for the washing, scraping, sanding, treatment of bare wood, priming, calking, glazing, replacement of missing or severely deteriorated shingles, repairs to rotten or deteriorated woodwork, and painting of the exterior of the Theodore Roosevelt Home and all related items necessary to produce a complete and satisfactory job as indicated in these specifications. Work includes the entire exterior surface of the Home e.g. windows and storm windows; shutters, brick surfaces above the foundation, including 4 chimneys; wood shingle surfaces, not including the wood shingle roofs; trims, including the rakes, eaves, soffits, corner boards, and gables; porches, including the lattice work, facia boards, decks, balustrades, newel boxes, columns, ceilings, eaves, rakes, stair carriages, molding, and other attached items; the carport, including its lattice work, columns, trims, gable, and other attachments. LOCATION: The Theodore Roosevelt House, Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, 20 Sagamore Hill Road, Oyster Bay, New York 11771. The NAICS code for this project is 238320 and the small business size standard is $12.0 million. Contract duration is 120 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
