Description

This acquisition is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Invitation for Bid documents incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04 dated 08 JUN 2005. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS for this acquisition is 334612; the small business threshold is 750 employees. The Governments specifications and requirements are for duplication/replication, to include labeling, printing/printed material, packaging, and direct mail services for VHS, DVD, and CD products. This contract will support Department of Defense (DoD) activities and other federal Government agencies that have a need to replicate/distribute original content on VHS, DVD, and CD media. In accordance with FAR Part 14.5, the government intends to release solicitation HQ0028-05-B-0001, Two-Step Sealed Bidding. DO NOT SUBMIT PRICES UNDER STEP ONE. Only one contract will be awarded from this IFB. Award will be on the ?all or none? basis. In Step 1, past performance information and bid samples for four SUB-CLINS must be submitted. Samples received for less than four SUB-CLINS will be rejected as nonresponsive. In Step 2, prices must be submitted for all SUB-CLINS in the Schedule. Bids received without prices for all SUB-CLINS will be rejected as nonresponsive. The Bidder shall request Government-provided masters for duplication/creation of bid samples no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific, 11 July 2005. The only request format acceptable is by e-mail to: TASA-Additional-Info@ dodmedia.osd.mil. The e-mail must include the company name, full delivery address, a point of contact, and a telephone number. The Government will Federal Express overnight the master material for duplication/creation of bid samples 13 JUL 2005. The bid samples, along with Past Performance, both are due on 28 JUL 2005, 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time at the Defense Media Center ?
