Description

AMBULANCE SERVICE, ALS and BLS, for the Orlando Veterans Administration Healthcare Center, 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, Florida 32803 and associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). This is a synopsis for commercial services per the procedures at FAR 12, 13, and 15. Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation Number 673-42-05. Solicitation issue date 29 June 2005, proposal due date 13 July 2005, 4 p.m. eastern standard time. NOTE: the solicitation will not be available until 29 June. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621910, size standard $6M. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, vehicles, equipment and supervision to provide ALS/BLS ambulance services for VA beneficiaries. Period of performance: 1 October 2005 (or date of award) through 30 September 2006, with two 1-year option periods. Contractor must be licensed (COPCN) by Orange County (Florida) to perform these services. Evaluation criteria for award: price, capability to perform services, and past/present performance.
