Description

Description: This is a fence building project in Phillips County Montana South of Malta. The contractor is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property to construct 884 rods of new fence with appurtenances and to remove approximately 307 rods of existing fence. _____ The line items read as follows: 1) MT02834(1) Barbed Wire Fence (4 wire) - 884 rods; 2) MT02834(5) Barbed Wire End Panel (Type II) - 16 each; 3) MT02834(6) Barbed Wire Stress Panel - 8 each; 4) MT02834(9) Five Post Barbed Wire Corner Panel (Type II) - 9 each; 5) MT02834(23a) Barbed Wire Gate (4 wire) - 9 each; and, 6) 02837(10) Fence Removal - 307 rods. Quantities are estimated. _____ The Request of Quote will be issued on or before June 21, 2005. A Site Tour is scheduled for Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 9 a.m. All interested quoters are to meet at the Malta Field Office located at 501 S 2nd Street East in Malta Montana. Please provide your own transportation; a four wheel drive is recommended due to travel over unimproved roads and trails will be required. The Request for Quote will close on Tuesday, July 18, 2005 with award tentatively scheduled for the following day. The project should take approximately 52 days to complete with the period of performance tentatively scheduled between August 1 and September 21, 2005. _____ This project is estimated to be under $25,000 and is a Small Business Set-Aside. Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) is required. Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) is also now required.
