- This serves as a “Notice of Intent” to issue a purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13), Policy Studies, Inc on a Sole Source basis to purchase maintenance of a scanning and imaging system. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-04, Effective 08 Jun 2005. The Government intends to award a contract for the following line item Software Maintanence Contract for an existing Imaging and Scanning System purchased from Highland Software. The maintanence contract will include Help Line…telephone and modem support related to system software inquiries, Remote Diagnostics…unlimited telephone and modem support related to system probems, On-site support…support related to system problems not resolvable through diagnosis, Preventative Maintanence…calls based on the anticipated system component usage, Administration of the software maintenance agreement for OnBase (Highland) Application Software…includes the installation of and training for all automatic software upgrades. This license renewal is for the period of one year. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. This requirement is determined to be available only from Policy Studies Inc because they are the sole developer of this scanning and imagning system and it is proprietary in nature. No formal requests will be issued for this procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
