- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for Radiology Services at the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. This will be a sole source bridge to contract N62645-05-D-5002 to extend services for multi-disciplinary health care worker indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), personal services type contract. Award will be made to Arora Group, Inc. on a firm-fixed price contract. Services are required for the period 01 October 2005 through 31 January 2006. This is the required amount of time for competitive solicitation N62645-05-R-0021 to be awarded. Arora Group, Inc. is the only known contractor that can provide the four-month contract radiology service requirements with healthcare workers who have been privileged to work at NMCP. The lead-time required for an alternate contractor to recruit and hire a replacement staff, submit Individual Professional File to NMCP for each health care worker, and for NMCP to work the privileging process does not exist prior to 30 September 05.
