Description

DESIGN AND INSTALL FIRE SUPRESSION SYSTEM SAND POINT COAST GUARD STATION / HQ PICTURED ROCKS NATIONAL LAKESHORE Design an appropriately sized system for the configuration of the building with current and anticipated usage, meeting applicable building and fire code requirements. The system is to include coverage of Basement, First Floor, Second Floor and Attic spaces of the 26' x 26' structure. The intended use of the building will be the first floor as a public Visitor Contact Station and the second floor as Dormatory Housing. The building is an historic structure, and to minimize disturbance of historic fabric, surface mounting of piping and components should be considered. Consideration should also be made for the future addition of an electronic fire detection and alarm system.
