- Description
- Work consists of approx. 643 acres of Mechanical Feller/Buncher Site Preparation. Purpose is to mechanically cut and place on the contour an average of 15 dead, burned coni8fer trees per acre. The desired end result of this project is the placement of cut trees to provide for site preparation, erosion control, wildlife habitat, fuels reduction, and for tree planting. Estimated contract time is 90 calendar days. Start work date is approx. August 8, 2005. There is no pre-bid tour, however offerors are encouraged to visit the site. No pre-bid tour is scheduled.
