Description

The FSI/SPAS/Area Studies Division's courses cover history, politics, economics, religion and culture, with an emphasis on relevant global issues and United States interests and challenges. We stablished a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) August 2004 to establish a community of contractors to teach a variety of Area Studies courses. The BPA requirements have changed and expanded, creating a need to establish a new BPA. (CURRENT AREA STUDIES BPA HOLDERS MUST RE-APPLY). This purpose of this BPA is to establish multiple award BPA agreements. Requirement will include the following: 1. design and deliver Advanced Area Studies courses 2. design and deliver Intensive Regional Studies courses 3. chair certain regional programs of the Area Studies Division 4. deliver guest lectures on a variety of topics The proposal due date is open for the entire potential contract performance period (through August 31, 2010). Proposals will be received, reviewed periodically, and subsequent awards will be made on an on-going basis.
