- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires the services of a Contractor to provide all labor, materials and supervision to independently oversee and monitor the water treatment program at SSA’s Metro West Building, 300 North Greene Street, Baltimore, Maryland. The Contractor shall perform extensive water testing to track various water parameters and provide consulting services to effectively monitor the progress of the water treatment program at this facility. The Contractor will not be required to supply water treatment chemicals. The Contractor shall also be independent of any water treatment chemical of equipment supplier. The Contractor shall also be responsible for any and all laboratory analysis. The term of the purchase order shall be a base period of one (1) year and four (4) – one (1) year option periods with an expected start date of 09/29/2005. All services shall be conducted between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, unless otherwise authorized by the Project Officer. The period of performance shall be for a one year base period with four 1-year options. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 541990. The size standard is less than $6 million average annual gross receipts. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The RFQ will be available on Federal Business Opportunities on or about July 1, 2005. A site visit is scheduled tentatively for July 18, 2005.
