Noun: Plate Assembly, QUANTITY: Min: 14/Max: 214; This requirement is a 5 Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract, applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to Tracy CA95304-5000. This item is restricted to Transtechnology Corp Cag e: 08484. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competit ive solicitation. A Contractor First Article is not required. Production Lead-time is 14 each, 180 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in ord er to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition.
