Description

On behalf of the The Army Human Resources Command (HRC), Education Division, Alexandria, VA, Defense Contract Command Washington intends to procure installation support services to assist Army Continuing Education System (ACES) professionals in the delivery of adult education programs and services at sites throughout the world. The objectives of the ACES are to provide functional academic skills training, high school completion, vocational technical/collegiate, and leader development programs; couns eling, financial assistance, including tuition assistance for Soldiers, testing, and Multi-use Army Learning Center operation, support enhanced job performance, skill qualifications, and career growth. In addition to serving military personnel, ACES provi des services to family members, Department of the Army civilians, and other qualified personnel. Support services may potentially be ordered for any location containing concentrations of Active Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard personnel. The Go vernment currently projects ordering an estimated 497,800 hours per year of services at over 117 locations throughout the Continental United States, 2 sites in Alaska, 2 sites in Hawaii, 2 sites in Puerto Rico, 1 site in the Virgin Islands, 1 site in Guam, 1 site in Honduras, 2 sites in Japan, and 11 sites in Korea. This is a follow-on requirement to the current ACES contract with the incumbent contractor being Resource Consultants, Inc. The NAIC Code is 611710. It is anticipated the entire RFP will be available on the DCC-W web site on or before 25 June 2005. However, a draft copy of the PWS is available for view on the DCC-W web site with this announcement. This draft copy of the PWS is not the final version and is subject to change. The official qu estion and answer period shall be stated with the announcement of the RFP. All interested firms should refer to the web address http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp to obtain an electronic copy of the RFP. The anticipated award date is on or b efore 28 SEP 2005.
